I'm passionate, laid back, quiet, talkative, fun, serious, sarcastic, respectful, intelligent, silly, confident, shy, opinionated, insecure, and a whole lot more. I'm more than a little geeky in some ways. I'm a realist, but I'm a dreamer at the same time. I see the world as having a certain romance, but I can be quite cynical too. Contradictory without a doubt, but that's the curse of being an actual person.

One of my big passions is music. I spend a lot of time listening to it, I adore finding new things that excite me, I love sharing things I like with people. While I lean pretty strongly towards the rock/alternative side of things (which covers a LOT anyway!), I'm open towards anything. That said, I'm really critical of the things I don't like, and can be vocal about why!

Equally big is my passion for what I do, which is studying. I'm a mature student working towards a degree in Sociology, currently in my first year. It's something I'm finding really enjoyable, especially the wonderment of the theoretical side. I'm happy to ramble on at fairly great length and with much enthusiasm about it all. That said, I'd be just as happy to ramble on about a load of other things too, from certain sci-fi shows and sitcoms through to how expensive and inconvenient public transport is, and beyond.

Of course, I'm on the site because I'm into BDSM. Mostly my heart lies towards the D/s parts of it all, which generally means having one of those 'relationship' things with someone to allow that to happen. I see submission is both a trait that can be expressed in the right relationship, and a feeling that can happen towards someone suitable. That's not to say the more physical bits aren't a whole load of fun too, and they both can happen together, so hoorah! There are things I really like, and things I really don't. That's something to save for conversation though, although the tick boxes below give a few handy hints... After all, a profile shouldn't give EVERYTHING away, should it?

So what am I looking for? Interesting people to natter on with, and just enjoy getting to know; friends are always a good thing after all!
