After having spent some years exploring and learning more about kink and myself I have found that although meeting people for casual kink liaisons can be fun its just like casual sex - short lived, hedonistic and in the longer term un-fulfilling. This time is not wasted, I have met some nice people and have had some interesting experiences - it has broadened my mind considerably. Also, it has given me more perspective about myself and what I need and where I should be putting more effort into finding.

I would like to find a lady for a more exclusive relationship. Not necessarily a full blown one, but a friendship in which I am her sub and we can enjoy other things than just the play aspect.

I am attracted to assertive females, that will not change in me. What has changed is the realisation that seeking someone purely based on kink compatibility and who may fulfil my kink needs is not fulfilling or sustainable. The D/s aspect will still be important and necessary, but not the be all and end all of the relationship for it to work. I have put my interest as 'being-sub'. Whilst this is what I am it is in the context of my sexuality and is not a generalisation. I have my own views and opinions, and although I will never say they are set in concrete I will fight my corner where it is important to me.

I am reasonably intelligent and have a wide range of interests. I enjoy getting out and exploring and experiencing places be it here in the UK or abroad. I follow no religion per se, but I am attracted to Buddhist philosophies. I see these as a good guide as to how one should base ones life around. There is no tick-list I can fill in for vanilla interests so here are some: Music, natural history, architecture, art, historic places, good food, moderate drinking, walking, talking, culture, films and theatre and others. I am also very keen on practical things such as crafts and DIY, having renovated and improved my various homes over the years.

I am open-minded (not just in the kink sense) and always happy to try new experiences. I would like to find someone to enjoy life together with in the round.
