My profile says I joined this site around 2008. I actually joined years before that, but through inactivity I forgot my previous log-in details, so I made a new profile.

Writing text about myself is relatively easy now, in comparison to previous versions, because I am not here looking to meet anyone for a relationship or to play. There's therefore little need to explain what I see as my positive characteristics or kink-based desires.

But then again, it is pretty annoying coming across empty profiles isn't it? And there's always a level of interest; however little, in the way someone describes themselves if you're checking out their profile, isn't there?

I'm undoubtably kinky; I've been aware of that most of my life, from before I understood what it was; before I even had a grasp of sexuality for that matter. But it's no big deal. Despite kink being a significant element of my sexuality, it doesn't encompass or control the vast majority of decisions I make in my relationships or my life. I don't have much urge to meet and socialise with fellow kinksters, or have compulsions to be seen and known amongst various scenes. I don't see anything wrong with that - normally I'm just too busy. Although I do meet and speak with kinky people every now and then; as I've played and had kinky relationships too, for varying and complicated reasons, I've no interest in meeting to play, never mind a relationship.

And this isn't going to change for....a very long time.

But as I said, no big deal, right?

I DO enjoy the online interaction this site does provide though, so if I ever get in touch by memo or whatever, it'll probably be because you've interested me in some particular way.
