Deliriously happy and not looking but thanks for stopping by anyway...

I have varied musical tastes but I draw the line at country music (except Johnny Cash), that's a hard limit. I have safe worded when musical theatre was suggested. That's a hard limit too. Light opera is another, interpretive modern dance makes me shudder. I have so many aversions!

My literary tastes are varied, from Raymond Chandler to Salman Rushdie. I am currently enjoying 'I Partridge,' "...consistently excellent intercourse."

I am fascinated by History, and sci-fi in literature, film and TV. My favourite film is 'Kind Hearts and Coronets,' which features neither.

I also enjoy the occasional evening in the pub, putting the world to rights with a pint of Guinness or a glass of good red wine. A good red wine is defined as costing under £5 a bottle and doesn't make me wince, cough or go blind when I drink it.

I plan to see some of the world outside of the UK in the near future. It would be a lot more fun to do it with a partner in crime.

My politics are best described as left wing. I am not a Liberal Democrat and I've never sold the Socialist Worker.
