Hello and welcome. Firstly I am not looking for a sub. I have a fabulous partner, whom I met right here on IC and for the last year he has been busy making my life a bed of roses.

I have been dominant all my life and in most areas of my life (when I was a little girl this was just called 'bossy') but didn't know there was a place where I could do this formally inside a relationship. For me D/s is turning out to be a place where I can (try to) truly be me.

The process of 'finding' my way is so rewarding, yet I would dearly love to talk to other Dominant women on how they have overcome the 'natural' or 'societal' tendencies to defer and become their truly, gloriously Dominant selves.

D/s is wonderful but also a very steep learning curve, at times I feel I am climbing Everest without oxygen, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Negotiating the terms of a D/s relationship is very different to a vanilla one as 'stuff' that goes without saying in that world needs saying in this one; a lot of saying sometimes.

Just as well I like saying... The process of learning to say and to ask and to tell or better to instruct or demand is an interesting and complex one, but it's a journey that has been long awaited I know I will enjoy.
