Like my life this profile is pretty much a work in progress...I am in no great hurry to finish either.

I am absent minded, sometimes cranky, often moody and always chatty.

I like to think I am loyal to my friends (when they deserve it)...unfortunately this does mean I also get a bit over protective (sorry) .

It is a scary thought that my daughter is no longer at university, having graduated 2009, so I have to admit she is a grown up...which is weird as I am not

Although I hold strong opinions, I think that every one has the right to believe what they like...as long it doesn't hurt anyone and they don't try to tell me what I should think, do, or believe.

I am younger than I look and older than I act, and the only things that can define me are the preconceptions that others impose. So apart from the odd burst of pretentiousness I am pretty normal (ish)

My hobbies are doing things I like and avoiding things I don't (which I put a lot of effort into )

Likes: Sci-fi and fantasy, especially vampires...Nature and animals...reading and talking, sometimes even to other people.

Dislikes: People who dismiss sci-fi and fantasy as for kids...people who take themselves too seriously...and most important people who are intolerant of others ideas, or dismissive of their ideals.
