You have found the main page for Cambridge Kinky Drinkies formerly known as the Cambridge Under 35's Munch! What's Cambridge Kinky Drinkies all about?
It's an informal social event held in a relaxed location - where like minded young people can meet and openly discuss their BDSM interests, and make new friends.
We understand that it's rather daunting coming into a social event of this nature especially for younger people, so we wish to make this as easy as possible for you. There are a number of us who are experienced members of the scene and have a wealth of knowledge between us we're happy to share. We feel we can offer friendship and beneficial advice to newcomers and young kinksters. Why the under 35s policy?
The under 35 policy is a guideline, not a rule. We won't kick you out the day before your 35th Birthday, and we certainly won't refuse older partners of under 35s, but please remember that Cambridge Kinky Drinkies was set up to help younger people discover the scene with people that they consider their peers. Unfortunately, due to the venue licensing constraints you must be over 18 to attend CKD and, as always, if you look under 21 you are advised to bring ID if you want to get served at the bar!
We hold a meet and greet service half an hour before the event starts, so there will always be someone to talk to and ask any questions you might have, before meeting the rest of the group - and we'll introduce you to the other members and make you feel at home! That sounds good, so where is it held?
Hidden Rooms Hidden Rooms is located at The Basement, 7a Jesus Lane, Cambridge, CB5 8BA. Please note that this venue is actually hidden! If you look out for a Pizza Express it's a door to the right with steps down to the basement.
At Hidden Rooms we sometimes have our own private room (the one on the left hand side as you come down the stairs) but if we're not there we will be in the private booth of the right hand room - either way we can still dress as we please and talk as loud as we like!
I am also very pleased to announce that they have more reasonable prices at the bar including £2 DRINKS! - ask the bar staff what's on special that night. (And if you're feeling flush their cocktails are divine!)
In addition to the chance to meet new friends and learn new experiences, we also will run special events. Previous events have included blind taste tests, discussions on current BDSM topics and outings, to film and theatre productions.
So, if you feel like broadening your horizons with like minded people at a very friendly and fun event please come on down or get in touch!
