2nd May 2008: If you haven't written to your MP to express your concerns about the legislation on 'extreme pornography', you don't have long left. There is one last chance for MPs to ask a Select Committee to look at the legislation again before it passes into law. With the Bank Holiday weekend it's probably too late to post, though if you catch Saturday morning you might just get your letter read in time; email is probably better, but remember they will only reply if you give your address.

I'm a latecomer to the campaign, to my shame and regret, but I've already had encouraging responses from people I've written to at the House of Lords, and everything people are saying suggests that the concern people have shown is really making a difference to the perception of this law around Westminster.

I'm going to recycle the brief description of myself I wrote on my blog, rather than confront the awful business of trying to sum myself up once again. So: I'm in my mid-twenties, living in north London and working in the arts.
