The @Fetish_Photo_Album (FPA) is flickr group set up and used by members of Informed Consent. It is a private space where the fetish, kinky or sexy pictures that we create can be posted and shared with other members of the group. There is no waiting for pictures to be approved.

How To Join The Fetish Photo Album Go to flickr and login or create a new account. Add marcusstrapp as a contact. Memo me here on IC informing me of your flick account name and requesting access to the Fetish Photo Album group. (it's in bold 'cos people tend to forget this bit) That's it! Once I've added you to the group you will be able to see the photos at http://www.flickr.com/groups/fpa/

Advantages to the Fetish Photo Album

• It's free. (see notes)
• Pictures are instantly viewable, no waiting for approval.
• Private pictures posted are only visible to members of the FPA group.
• No limit on the number of pictures you can post (although there is a ten pictures per day posting limit)
• Almost no limit on file size or image resolution.
• You can upload short video clip (up to 90 seconds).
• You can leave comments on pictures.
• Pictures can be tagged and search for.
• There are already some cracking pictures on the FPA, and better still if you follow the links it opens up into a jaw dropping world of the most deliciously deviant and absolutely fabulous photography!

Notes on Using the Fetish Photo Album

• Consider updating your flickr profile with your IC name and a link to your IC profile. This will help us identify one another and help foster the sense of community.
• Consider adding a note to your profile to let people know you are a member of the Fetish Photo Album especially if you are going to post some pictures. The more people that use it, the better it will be! Something like: 'I am member of, and post pictures to the @Fetish_Photo_Album'.
• Avoid posting lots of very similar pictures. Choose the best and just add those.
• Post your pictures or pictures you have had a hand (or any other part of your anatomy) in creating. It's not intended to be a professional porn collection, it's about sharing what we do and create.
• Flickr offers free accounts and pro accounts (paid for accounts). Even the free account allows you unlimited pictures although you are limited to 100MB per month (this is a very generous allowance).

Notes on Privacy

• If you already have a flickr account for your private family snaps, consider creating a new flickr account exclusively for your kinky pictures; a belt and braces way of keeping your kinky and non-kinky personas separate.
• The Photo Fetish Album is a private group and as such you have to be a member of the group to view it. However you must mark any picture you submit as being private if you want that picture to be viewable only by members of the group.
• Because the FPA is a private group, membership of the group will not be visible on your flickr profile page to anyone other than yourself.
• Admin for the group does not moderate the group nor does it accept responsibility for the actions of any members, e.g. another member could copy a picture and then distribute it elsewhere! If you are adamant you do not want a picture in circulation, then don't post it... anywhere.
• If you join the Fetish Photo Album group, your flickr account name will be visible to other group members as being a member of the group. If you have personal pictures or other identifying information on your flickr account that you would rather not have linked with the Fetish Photo Album, then simply create a new flickr account and join the group with that account.

Behaving Responsibly

If we are going to share pictures that are of an adult nature, it is important that we all take steps to ensure that these picture are both flagged as being unsuitable for children and also where appropriate, we mark them as being private. The default behavior for flickr is for pictures to be "public" and marked as "safe" for children.

You can change your account settings (as I have) so that all new pictures you post are automatically flagged as "restricted" (meaning unsuitable for children, your grandmother or your workmates) and that new pictures are private (visible to just you, and/or friends and/or family and/or groups you post the picture to).

After logging on to flickr:

To change your settings so you get to see restricted photos, that is photos of an adult nature:

• Under the "You" tab at the top of the page click on "Your Account" to take you to your account page.
• Click on the "Privacy & Permissions" tab.
• Go to the section "Content filters" and click on the "edit" link for "SafeSearch".
• Select "SafeSearch off"
• Click on the "Save Changes" button.

To change your settings so all new pictures you post are restricted

• Under the "You" tab at the top of the page click on "Your Account" to take you to your account page.
• Click on the "Privacy & Permissions" tab.
• Go to the section "Defaults for new uploads" and click on the "edit" link for "What Safety Level and Content Type will your photostream have".
• Select "Restricted"
• Click on the "Save Changes" button.

To change your settings so all new pictures you post are private

• Under the "You" tab at the top of the page click on "Your Account" to take you to your account page.
• Click on the "Privacy & Permissions" tab.
• Go to the section "Defaults for new uploads" and click on the "edit" link for "Who will be able to see, comment on, or add notes"
• Select "Only You (Private)"
• Click on the "Save Changes" button.
