First and foremost I believe that a relationship should be built on the fundamentals of trust, honesty, openness and respect. I recognise that this would be within a quite unique environment, but it should be able to withstand the normal difficulties of life. I know that might sound trite but what I am looking for is to build on a genuine and deep foundation.

So why am I here and not on e Harmony? They tried to match me on “the deepest levels of compatibility” but failed badly.

I have spent a huge amount of time reading and thinking about what I would like my life to be and how I wish to give that to someone else's care. I have had some limited experience and have come to understand that this is how I would like my future to be. However I would not seek to be prescriptive, nor present a shopping list of wants or desires. I have therefore left the tags as very general.

I do not want to give the impression that this is “the be all and end all” of my outlook. My outside interests are enjoying good food and wine, with interesting company and conversation. I enjoy my work and love to travel and experience new things. I am curious about the world and enjoy discussing many everthing.

Divorced and I hope “sorted” – well as much as any of us can be - I am also a private person. Therefore I don't want to say much here at this stage. I am also opinionated and strong willed – so there's a challenge. I am trying to come to this with no preconceived ideas and no demands.
