Darken'd is delight, sweeter than dreams

Of sharpest thorns, or sirens' wild romancing;

The impact zone, the memories entrancing.

...All of which of course tells you only that I can handle metre; I've been immersing myself only slowly in the 'scene', but still, feel free to say hi, especially if you enjoy philosophical wrangling or dreamy idling.

My thoughts have sometimes opened onto 'shoreless seas and stars uncounted' (as Tolkien said of Faërie), but they do seem to swerve from time to time towards 'pitfalls for the unwary and dungeons for the overbold'. Quiet as a waiting spider except when inspired, I tend to be the soul of discretion rather than the party; yet I'm often happy and curious to share an idea or a reverie, whether it involves the starry sky above or the moral law within or a twisted way to set a girl squirming.

Other-interest-wise, I enjoy circumnavigating piles of books (it's like sunflower-growing for the gardenless, only you can consume the entire thing); geeking out over obscure bits of video game culture and thereby barely leaving myself time to play the darn things; philosophies no sensible and level-headed person would defend, just because of that (but ask intellectual seriousness of me and you shall have it); and daydreaming the ephemeral inhabitants of impossible worlds.
