A confident (former) Chef hailing from the original middle earth (Midlands UK), which means I'm often wrongly accused of being a Northerner simply because I'm from north of the M25. For a better understanding of the North/South divide: the Doms who hail from the south (particularly London) usually look like this chap, and those from up North tend to look like these guys. So imagine something in the middle and you're half way to me.

At 30, I moved to Canada on a whim after a week long vacation. During which I went from Cheffing to DJ'ing (which I'd done for ten years before) to running open mic comedy shows. Occasionally I went on stage, still do every now and again. The focus then was giving new comics various platforms to practice their material. This was spread out over 4 different shows, the last of which ended this year after 9 years due to the building being demolished. I travel to Canada often and visiting places around the world is never a problem for me.

I'm generally a pretty funny guy and always seem to be able to make people laugh or cringe. As my flat mate keeps saying, 'you may be a cunt, but you're a funny fucker'. I tend to agree and can often be seen round a table of chest-thumping-Doms at the odd munch making an ass of myself but getting a laugh anyway.

To a degree I don't take life seriously (it's too short), and like many having come into the lifestyle later in life meant at first I was playing a lot of catch up. With a certain amount of 'Dom frenzy' shortly after the Canadians turned me into a pervert, before deporting me back to Blighty.

From those early days with my first sub I (like many new to the lifestyle) did struggle with knowing what I wanted. Trying to find out who I was and being ever confused about what women wanted. After a long time trying to be what I thought I should be, from how I perceived the scene, I slowly worked my way through what I am and what I want from this.

Ten years on, I have a better sense of myself and instead of trying to fit to a label I simply go with the flow, and do what feels right for me at the time. Which of course is complimented by who I am with. If I identify with any label I would say 'top', and it appears inherent in me to take charge. Recently, I have come to accept that within that dynamic, where I am myself completely with another, it opens up many possibilities. Some that I wouldn't have previously considered, thinking them to mean I am not Dom at all. I am more than happy to hand over control of my pleasure to a partner who completely understands my body and my desires. They just don't involve most of the activities associated with D/s (impact play, pain, CP etc) its more the sex/sensual side of things.

Life in London has been good to me, I have met many friends on and off the scene from attending the odd munch, hosting parties, and working where I work (the Big Apple). I have my own business that involves making vinyl records. As well as, brokering for bands, artists and producers around the world when they want to put their work on good old fashioned vinyl. I spend time writing, some of which I share here on my wall, so if you do enjoy please feel free to comment. I'm always looking for friends and can often be found at the Barnet Social, where there is only one rule - whenever a new member joins us at a munch, we all chant 'One Of Us!' over and over. Also, at the Camden Crunch (apologies in advance as I'm usually drunk at this one), sometimes the Under 35's mid week drinks events, and can occasionally be seen around dark and seedy places in North London with this being dragged along on a leash.

Currently pursuing interests that connect rope and photography; one an old love revisited, and the latter a new interest. I'm working on an idea for a website www.RopeBunnies.co.uk (nothing there are the moment), but have a couple of photo shoots under my belt already and really enjoying that. Whilst I continue to explore the scene and make new friends, I don't really subscribe to the chest-thumping-Dom's philosophy. I tend to make connections with other people through normal conversations about anything and everything, usually ending up with me getting a laugh or two out of people and going from there. I have a good close group of friends with whom I socialise, and can often be seen out at events etc. with them so do feel free to come say 'hi'.

I'm happy at the moment just socialising, pursuing hobbies, and enjoying life, but if you grab my attention, for any number of reasons (usually I'm attracted to a sense of humour and people who don't take themselves - and the scene - too seriously) then great. I find that things just tend to happen when it's least expected so I don't really look for anything these days.
