My interests include posing, plotting, grappling irons, leg irons, shooting irons, Jeremy Irons, positively charged ions, antique and vintage clothing, mapmaking, inventing new constellations, film, photography, art, collecting shiny things, walking in the hills, giving misleading directions to people lost in the hills, dangling women off bridges and over rivers, collecting old things made out of canvas, cycling (downhill), history (the gruesome bits), collecting cacti and naming them after interesting words used to describe ladies' private and shameful areas, collecting old tins, and many, many other things. I value my friends, and, I would like to think, my friendship is valued in return.

Things I want:

Carved, Celtic rune shoes. A Viking long boat in which to cremate my mother. Only after she is dead, of course. A pyramid. A bullwhip. To reverse the unsatisfactory outcome of the American Revolutionary War. To destroy Bolshevism. A cool coat that fastens up on the right. Bryan Ferry.

I now have a monocle and amazing trousers. But not Bryan Ferry.

Mr Throbbs is still feral and has recently been spending a lot of time building magpie traps. All the traps seem to be based on ones featured in the film 'The Goonies'.
