I'm extremely fortunate to be in a D/s relationship with a wonderful Lady who I love.

I'm 39, both submissive and masochistic. I have a whole range of interests in and out of the scene, including the arts in general, good food and wine (both cooking and eating out), hill walking, debate and psychology. My partner and I live together in North London. Life is good again.

You could possibly describe me as an edge player although I've definitely become more of a wimp recently. The psychological connection is always more important to me than the activity. It is easier to say what I'm not into rather than what I am... no children, animals, unconsensual! This is not to say that I don't have limits in other areas but rather that they are there to be extended...

I would say that I prefer the tenets of RACK (risk aware consensual kink) to SSC (safe sane consensual) because I think we all have to take responsibility that there is some risk in what we do... If we choose to play then we accept that risk and that means subs as well as Dom/mes. If you choose to hand over power then the responsibility is shared.

I'm out and about although perhaps not as much as I use to be... happy to make friends and chat with people of all persuasions... not keen on fundamentalism in any of its guises... so if someone thinks their way is the only way then they're likely to get into a discussion with me... similarly those that think sub = doormat will get short shrift... What I choose in my personal relationships is very much at odds with other parts of my life. That said I'm genuinely genial, friendly and approachable.

I have been incredibly lucky and have met some wonderful people on the scene that have enriched my life considerably and opened up sides of me that I wished to develop.

We occasionally play with others both as a couple and seperately.
