What? The Brentwood Munch!
When? The first Wednesday of the month (the next one being on Wednesday 7th April). Kick off is at 7.45pm although someone will be present from around 7.30pm.
Update: Due to an unforseen change of circumstances (i.e. the upstairs area is now being used for salsa dancing on Wednesdays!) we are now back downstairs again. Come through to the bar and walk right round - we will be lounging in the area with squishy, comfy leather sofas and chairs 
About us... We are a steadily expanding (the attendance numbers, NOT the hosts!), friendly Munch run by CrystalTipps and Miss_Lucy_Moralis. New comers and first timers can be sure to receive a warm welcome and should feel free to contact one of us (or call the munch mobile on the night of the munch: 07794 129916) to arrange a meet and greet if you're a little nervous 
The venue... The Slug and Lettuce, in Brentwood, is a friendly little pub on the High street and only a couple of minutes walk from the station.
We are located at the furthest end of the bar, around the corner in the area with squishy, comfy leather sofas and chairs. It is a comfortable area and both food (until 9pm) and drinks are available. There is no specific area for smokers other than just 'outside' generally speaking.
Now for the important bit...
HOW TO FIND US!
The pub is located on the high street itself and is easy to find. Coming in from the M25, J28, follow the signs for brentwood. You will go through 2 sets of traffic lights which takes you onto the main part of the high street and the pub is located on the right.
If you come in from the other end of town, cross the double roundabout, drive straight down the high street and you'll see it on your left, opposite La Tasca.
There is plenty of parking, both in nearby side streets and the multi-storey carpark (signposted). There is also a pay and display car park located behind La Tasca, opposite the venue.
For the more technological amongst you... the address and postcode is Hanover House, 78-82 High St, Brentwood, CM14 4AP
The train station is a few minutes walk away, turn right from the station, head up the hill, bear left at the round about, turn right at the traffic lights and the pub is on the right opposite La Tasca.
