'Personal ad. preamble'

I have put this rather tedious bit first to save you time reading the rest of my profile if the following paragraph means there is no way you wish to know anything more about me, and also to avoid any chance of misunderstandings on the matter at a later date.

I am married, and fully intend to remain so, but unfortunately she is no longer interested in taking part in any D/s activities other than the mildest play. So, after much discussion, and with her agreement, I am looking to establish a discreet friendship (preferably long-term) with a sub woman (or perhaps an M/f couple who want another dominant man to join them?) to continue my enjoyment of kinks of mutual interest. (I am not really interested in casual play or one-night stands, but obviously, I am not looking for a TPE or 24/7 relationship either!)

I would rather be be walking along a mountain ridge than a high street, rather be sailing along the coast that driving along a motorway, rather tie my sub to a tree in a sunlit forest clearing on a spring morning than to a metal post in a strobe-lit fetish club at midnight, rather be having a chat by the fire in a quiet country pub on a winter's evening than trying to communicate against the background din of a loud disco. (I like my music loud; but that's my choice of music, when I choose to play it, not someone else's choice imposed when I am trying to talk to my friends.)

If you have read this far (and still are not bored out of your skull!), then you may want to read the final part of my profile which concerns my attempt at writing a story-length BDSM poem (now over 250 verses, but still unfinished), entitled " Jennifer's Journey, or 'The Red Butt of The Willing sub' ". This has grown from an original concept, inspired partly by someone I once knew, to write a BDSM poem of saga length, with appropriate story/timeline and character development.

Inspired also of course by "Eskimo Nell", but with a submissive modern woman rather than the toughest whore the old west as the heroine. (And those familiar with J. Milton Hayes' “The Green Eye of The Little Yellow God” will also recognise that poem as having influenced the style - and of course the subtitle of my poem is a direct allusion to that influence.)

I have been working on this on & off for a long while (in between attending to other priorities and serious episodes of "writer's block"), and probably have as many ideas in plain text draft as I have in finished verse. (Not least of those ideas is to assemble a collection of relevant images & sketches with a view to possibly producing an illustrated version, but that idea has rather slipped by the wayside, mainly because my artistic skills are not up to it!)

Call it corny bullshit if you like, but I have been enjoying writing it, and some of those I have shown extracts to have said they enjoyed them. I have posted these verses somewhere else on the IC forum quite a while back, but I have chosen to repeat them here, in the context of my profile, because I think they supplement my blogs and give a few more insights to my kinks.

The short extract below is a scene from quite early in the story, when Jennifer is beginning to come out of her insecure shell, and with growing confidence, is becoming more assertive in the exploration of her submission:
