| The university may be paying me to carry on with my dissertation into a research Masters! 80% likely they will get the funding... that 20% is niggling in my brain but I should find out pretty soon whether its a firm yes or not. But even to be considered is so exciting! Who'd of thought an average student like me could be paid to do pioneering research on the Humber estuary (ok not exciting to the rest of you, but very exciting for me!!) [more...] | ||

| I had a trip out onto the Humber estuaries in september for my field studies that went very wrong and I ended up sinking to my thighs in thick gloopy mud! But todays went so much better and i'm actually beginning to enjoy my dissertation and the field work that is required from it! [more...] | ||

| Well, in 2 weeks at weightwatchers, I have lost 10lbs and its such a big motivation. I'm starting to see little changes, but it's the small ones that make me feel so proud. | So at first i didnt like the picture ratings thingy, then i gave it a chance and decided to enable my pictures to be rated. but it doesnt half make you feel shit when you get a rating of 1 on a picture that many, many people have complimented and one of me that i quite like myself. think I shall disable it ( and yes before you raters butt in and say its hiding from the truth, i dont care, i'd rather keep my confidence levels up right now!) | Well with shed loads of problems with my original gym I decided to give up on them and join another....and its amazing! absolutely every piece of equipment you could imagine and then some. | Just made my first reappearance at the gym, and it killed me! 40mins of cardio, i wasn't going easy on myself but i wasn't pushing myself as much as i did 3 months ago, its going to take weeks to get back up to that fitness level. just hoping i can stay motivated this time! oh well, swimming tomorrow, much more easier and fun [more...]

| Just had my induction of my new job today. It's my first step on my career ladder and i love it . Ok so I'm right at the bottom of the ladder as a lab technician, but i'ts in a school which gives me an insight on whether I want to go into teaching or not in the future. The only thing im not looking forward to is the early mornings monday to friday for the rest of this month! I am not a morning person, cutting up pigs hearts for kids to experiment on at 8.30 in the morning should prove testing times! [more...]

| sex and wand!!!!! Rhi rhi in mallorca on a stoopid field trip where im climbing mountains and doing transects through scratchy shrubbery. Rhi rhi in a room with 3 other girls so doesnt have her trusty little wand friend. Rhi rhi not coming home for another week and then has to wait a good few days after that before a chance of anything happening because wand is not at the house im going to! this is frustrating.... very frustrating!
