| My new year was most bizarre. London really doesn't give a toss about anyone disabled, only the majority. | Recent threads have made me more aware perhaps than I have been of what puts people off becoming involved with a person who might be described as disabled. Whilst some of the negative comments were made by the usual suspects (the ones who seem to seek perfection in every respect) there was one comment that made me think about what may concern people about becoming involved with a someone with a disability. | I was sitting in the cinema this evening when it struck me that you can't live your life vicariously through other people, nor can you write your own script. I guess this is (or should be) self-evident, but not perhaps to a hopeless romantic such as I. I see what others have and think that I'd like that too.
