| I've seen quite a lot in the last few days - a couple of roadrunners which look exactly like the cartoon character, beautiful butterflies, lizards and bats - plus holes I am assured are home to Mexican tarantulas. But the best was last night - walking by the river at dusk, I saw a snake about 2 feet away from me. It wasn't any kind of rattle snake but I'm not sure what it was - as soon as it became aware of us, it doubled back on itself and disappeared into the undergrowth. | ||
