| So last night, a little gang of 8 traversed the various perils of Richmond to go and enjoy the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain playing at the theatre. The 7 members had a range of unstruments, including a bass uke, and produced two further teeny tiny insruments, roughly the size of a firdge magnet and a pencil sharpener respectively. The skill and proficiency displayed was just amazing, with the jokes coming thick and fast all the way. Those guys were so clever, all held together by an amazingly charismatic and warm frontman. | Just found out from a friend that the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain is playing in Reading this Wednesday! There was a posting recently about them playing in London on August 8th, so still defo up for that one, but I will be popping along to this one too I think!! [more...] | ||
