21 Apr 12Zone One by Colson Whitehead (1) by Andromalius (13 May 12, 7:28 PM by Loved67)
Seeing as we're talking zombie novels, Colson Whitehead's Zone One is the only other zombie novel apart form WWZ that I'd recommend, and I'd say it's a superior work of fiction.

31 Mar 12Series you have abandoned. (12) by Andromalius (26 Apr 12, 11:08 PM by Belasarius)
Normally, if we've invested the time in a good series, we'll see it through. By a series, I don't mean a string of stand alone novels featuring a central character or organisation I mean discrete parts of an ongoing story. I'd say it's not reading any of the last part of a trilogy, or giving a series three or more books before dropping it. [more...]

Last night I was given a book called Succubus Revealed by Richelle Mead. The book has a central character,Gorgina Kincaid(Succubus). While the plot from what I can pick owe a little to the screenplay of E4's Reaper ,its main story runs around Georgina being move by force from Seattle to Las Vagas by her boss, the devil.A sub plot seems to be why those above her want her move from Seattle and her boyfriend Seth, this from allies being suspicious what is going on.She wants out of the business but does not mind how much roadkill she creates to do it but she does not want to lose Seth.A nearly [more...]
