| 4 Feb 12 | Cellar pony walker (1) | (4 Feb 12, 9:26 PM by mia) |
| Walkers are frames that allow horses to exercise by themselves in a circle. For horse owners, they reduce the amount of supervision required, and like a lot of equestrian equipment the idea can be adapted to BDSM. Horses spend their whole lives in some form of bondage or captivity if you think about it | ||

| 17 Jan 12 | Club Lash | (17 Jan 12, 12:12 AM by Tanos) |
| mia and I made it to @Club_Lash in Manchester for the first time in a while: we've had something else on, either kink or vanilla, every second Saturday of the month since the autumn. We talked to some old and new faces, and I finally got one of @TheProf's Black Box electrical devices. I also did a bit of a consensual-nonconsent scene with mia in the dungeon. I think that's the first time I've ever set out to do that in public play. mia enjoys that style of play even more than me (at least afterwards, of course | ||
| 13 Jan 12 | Bridgewood Blog | (13 Jan 12, 2:07 PM by Tanos) |
| I made a few changes to the Bridgewood Blog last night, to include older posts about Open Air BDSM as well as Bridgewood itself and to put more of the posts on the main page of the site. I'm planning to continue with more OAB posts as well as the Bridgewood updates to make it more of an open air news site. You can also follow the blog via ukBridgewood on Twitter. | ||

| 9 Dec 11 | The Single Market and the Marketplace books (7) | (12 Dec 11, 9:30 PM by misunderstoodslave) |
| It's been a pretty momentous day, with Eurozone countries and aspiring Eurozone countries forming their 'euro-plus' grouping with tighter controls on governments' borrowing and budgets. This may lead to the European Commission or something like it vetting and possibly vetoing the budgets of democratically elected governments, and I doubt Britain will be the only non-Euro country to refuse to sign in the end. In fact, I can see some Euro countries failing to participate if it goes to a referendum. So huge, defining political moments of our time etc etc. But all day it's been reminding me of Laura [more...] | ||

| This would be a really good day for Salmond to tell the homophobic founder of Stagecoach where to stick any future donations to the SNP. | ||
| 6 Oct 11 | Steve Jobs (13) | (6 Oct 11, 1:10 PM by goodghirl) |
| I fell in love with computers themselves again thanks to him. What an outstanding life: Apple, then seeing the potential of Xerox PARC's work and building the Lisa and the Mac, NeXT, PIXAR, then Apple again, and the flood of changes to our lives flowing from his return. | ||
| 3 Oct 11 | Lying Daily Mail story about Knox and Sollecito (24) | (4 Oct 11, 9:50 AM by Imagination42) |
| The lying Daily Heil put up their "appeal failed" story at 8:50pm by mistake, a minute or two after the "appeal succeeded" verdict was announced. You can see how much they make up just from reading this. They're touting their other version of course now. I've highlighted the outright lies and inventions about things that obviously didn't happen tonight in bold. [more...] | ||

| We'd been planning October's event day on Saturday as end of season special for a couple of months now. Given the usual October weather, we tried to think of activities good for keeping warm | ||

| Last month @mia and I went to the GLLA ("Great Lakes Leather Alliance") weekend in Indianapolis after our week in New York. GLLA is one of several regional leather conventions across that have M/s contests, and I blogged about this part last time. Now I'm going to write a bit about the workshops. [more...] | ||

| 20 Sep 11 | GLLA & the Great Lakes M/s Contest in Indianapolis | (20 Sep 11, 6:23 PM by Tanos) |
| Last month @mia and I went to the GLLA ("Great Lakes Leather Alliance") weekend in Indianapolis after our week in New York. GLLA is a one of several regional leather conventions in the US that have an M/s strand, and it covers the area to the west of the Master/slave Conference in Washingon that I went to in 2007. Both events are very different to what we do in the UK, although the substance of people's BDSM and relationships are quite similar. [more...] | ||

| @mia, @secretsmile_101 and I went to the first Fem Sub Social Club in Birmingham last night, and it turned out to be a very well run event with a great atmosphere. It was also our first visit to the amazing Exodus venue. [more...] | ||

| Earlier this month mia and I had a trip to the US, with a week in New York followed by the GLLA weekend conference event in Indianapolis. I'm going to post later about GLLA so I can do the New York part first. We did a mixture of sight seeing, shopping (including BDSM shopping) and one BDSM event. [more...] | ||

| mia and I are back today from a week in New York followed by the GLLA weekend in Indianapolis. I'm going to blog about the highlights later in the week, but as well as touristy things we managed a TES meeting and various BDSM shops in New York, and some really good workshops at GLLA. | ||
| 12 Aug 11 | August Bridgewood event day | (12 Aug 11, 11:48 PM by Tanos) |
| This month's event day turned out well despite the forecast. We managed to dodge the rain during Saturday daytime, so we only had it overnight on Friday and Sunday morning. I've blogged already about the new suspension frame and whipping post, and we had several net suspensions happening during the weekend. The Holding Pen was also back in service now the fallen branch is cleared away. [more...] | ||
