| Write a bit on here as it has been a while. Last summer in fact was the date of last musings, lacking substance and quality as usual. I passed my 1st yr of my MSc, it was once again "Last Minute" as it seems in affairs concerning academia I prefer to create undue & unneeded pressure upon myself to do the task in hand. Then began the problems for me, raising the funds to pay for Yr2 became difficult, and it ate away at me, financial pressures have been a bugbear for a couple of years now...how they can drag one down. | Over the past few weeks something has come back into my life, tis simply music, and while I have been slogging away over Essays and life, this particular form has given me much needed freedom. Her work with The Cocteau Twins, Massive Attack, This Mortal Coil and many others has put a smile on my face. Her unique way of delivering sounds from her lips enchants me, and when I was much younger and was played some of the for-mentioned artists work, I couldn't quite connect... | I just feel the need to write, so i will. That was my second "Christmas" in a row spent alone, due to my personal circumstances. When i was little christmas was a time of excitement, expectation, adventure... we would travel up to Norwich from London to see my grandparents, and my aunties, and uncles would be there, cousins etc. It was for me what my idea of christmas was all about, Family, Fun, but above all love... We all got on, the adults got drunk, games were played, much choco was ate... And traveling back to London when it was all done, i had new toys... something to take my mind off things [more...] | ||

| Is something i have done a fair bit of over the past couple of months. But i am finding a constant in it all, and it underlines the reason why im here, and why i desire to be with a likeminded female. I suppose finding that sepcial mixture of it all, someone you get on with, enjoy on all levels, and are left craving more...is a heady mix that will take some serious frog kissing and mouthwash to maybe achieve. | Just watched it, really liked it, dont want to spoil it for anyone thus wont give away details, but as far as Vampire films go, this has to be my new fave. I would give it 8.5/10, for a well spent sunday afternoon watching a lovely film. | ||
