| James is currently wearing nothing but trainers, a netball skirt, padlocked mittens and a blindfold, chained by the neck to the wall in the playroom. | ...has all been going very well so far! I thought we weren't going to get anyone this week - someone volunteered for Wednesday, then bottled out. It wasn't a huge deal because we actually ended up having a very pleasant afternoon: we played about in the paddling pool before heading to the gym, got a large grocery shop done and then curled up in bed with a kinky book we're reading through. No one had offered to take today's slot, but then while I was on a break at work I checked IC and got a memo from someone, available this afternoon, so that was arranged in haste and *not* repented at leisure! | I got paid today and part of me wants to indulge and buy something fetishy. I've had my eye on these shoes for about a year, and on clothing from Moonmaiden. And I've not had a flogger from Jack's in far too long; part of me would like something bespoke, but I'm also quite interested in the new Short Stock Whip. | A couple of times a week at work, I drive past a spot where - if you know where to look - the Sweet Torments venue can be glimpsed through the trees. As I do shift work, this occasionally happens on a Saturday evening, and I wonder if there's an event going on. Every once in a while I think, "We really ought to go again." | Feeling lazy and lethargic today and also craving a good caning, which won't be forthcoming for quite a while. I really need to get the house into at least some semblance of order as James is coming here after Club Black Whip tomorrow night, and at the moment there's just Stuff Everywhere. I also need to pack for tomorrow; not toys as James still has the case from Pedestal, but things like outfit, hairthings... I'm probably going to have to go straight from work so they need to be ready to take with me when I leave at 8 tomorrow morning, even though I won't actually get to the club for a further [more...] | ||

| Yesterday was Pedestal night; unfortunately we once again had to play Cinderella and leave by midnight as I had an appointment in Borehamwood at 9:30 this morning - which had originally been cunningly arranged for *yesterday* morning so I could simply request the whole day off, but was changed by the centre a few weeks ago. | All these threads about munches lately - is it really so difficult to grasp that different people may want or need different approaches? Some of us can't cope with large groups; some people prefer them. Some of us feel more comfortable in an overtly kinky environment. Some of us hate pubs. Some of us want to talk kink there, others are horrified at the thought. Some of us want to eat, some don't. Some want to drink, some don't. Clearly I don't have the hang of this yet. I just had a sub male inform me he is no longer seeking a master or mistress (yesterday he was desperate to come to a club with us and was most put out when I said that if he did, at the end of the night he would go home) and did I have any thongs or bras I could sell him in the meantime. I said no, I need them! So he asked if I had corsets. I said sure, but it would be £250; £50 for the old corset and £200 for a replacement for me. Oh, and postage. He then went mysteriously silent! And I could have used that £250, too... *sigh*  | ||

| The house move has happened. I still have to finish cleaning the flat ready to hand over probably at the end of next week, then it'll be time to start working on unpacking all these boxes. 8/ I'm currently relying on mobile broadband, which took me a while to get working smoothly - it kept locking up until I went in and fiddled with the network connections, which means I'll probably have a headache getting everything networked and running correctly again when broadband is finally set up. | I'm feeling quite unsettled. I don't think it's a coincidence that I started badly sabotaging the diet at about the same point I sabotaged the only other truly successful attempt - as if my mind is saying "this far, no further". There have a few unsettling, though not unwelcome, happenings lately and I think my mind is reacting the wrong way to them. Where I should be flattered/pleased/proud/whatever, all I actually am is terrified and confused and quite upset because I feel like I need to be able to please a lot of people all at once who all want different, mutually exclusive things and I hate [more...] | ||
