It's CK tonight - at the moment I'm in a state of sheer terror, although it's not being helped that I haven't seen Him in two months so I'm anxious about that too, and I have work on Sunday, after which I have the three hour drive back up to His place, followed by an earrrrly interview in Central London on Monday morning. I'm not ready for any of this, which is more the source of terror rather than any serious misgivings about the night on my part. Last night was the munch. I'd had some second thoughts about going just before it; I ripped the tights I was going to wear at work, felt miserable at the thought of not being able to spend an evening online, had been ordered to wear strappy, heeled sandals, and was generally quite nervous. Work has been conspiring against us lately, and it's been nearly two months since we last managed to meet up - and even longer than that since we had more than 36 hours together. Typically the long separation has coincided with me finally managing to attend my first munch, so I'm all the more eager to play, and in my frustration, I keep lashing out verbally and trying to 'hurt' myself that way. I'm trying not to; it makes things worse instead of better, but it's not easy. [more...]
