| Mystical places - Dungeness, (A bit off-topic, if we ever really are xxxx) Has anyone else felt the magic of this little micro-climatised area of South Kent. Having spent a Summer week-end there for the past 6 years I have to admit there is a drawing force, witnessing the endless horizons of big big skies as you look westward over Romney Marsh towards Rye. Across the flatlands of grazing sheep, a Military Canal,flooded gravel pits and re-claimed areas that were once on the coast and led to a port busily unloading Wine bound for London off ships from nearby France, the lights of which can be seen [more...] | ||
