I've just returned from an extremely fun evening of beginner burlesque lessons by bella besame. I'd heartily recommend them, she was a fun teacher, and I didn't feel self-conscious or daft at all (well perhaps a little when trying to do a convincingly cutesy-pie innocent pout while girating my hips..but who wouldn't in my shoes, frankly?) Off to unclip the seamed stockings and get ready for bed after a brief practice of one or two of the moves. My flatmate steve will be treated to my back-shimmy in my jammas while I brush my teeth! Can anyone recommend a good dry cleaners that I could trust with a corset in the south Manchester area? Preferably in and around Chorlton/Didsbury? That corset and I have seen a lot, she needs a loving hand after all the abuse.

Just felt a terrific need to post about this amazing film! It sheds so much light on the complexities and vulnerabilities of adult sexuality. A rare gem that manages to be both explicit yet sensitive, lofty yet irreverent, and realistic yet fanciful. The focal point of the character's interactions is a pan-sexual club called shortbus.
