| Ok sometimes information falls in to you're lap it's normally nothing of importance, a friend has done x someone else has done y. But every now and then some information presents itself to you that put's you in a tricky situation. One where you know that you should say something about it but know that in saying something could leave you open to having you're life picked over and certain things coming out that you are not overly keen about the world knowing. | Grrr my knee has started hurting tonight, not sure why but its up there with the pain it was when it was really bad. Luckly i have found some of my nice pain meds at my parents so just waiting for them to kick in so i can get some sleep. If not its 1/2 a bottle of gin time! |

| Now I am not normally one to get pedantic about many things, but every now and then something pops up and it just bugs me; maybe being ill exacerbates things and alike. Well anyhow I came across this group on facebook http://www.facebook.com/group.php?v=feed&story_f... as one of my friends joined it. Now the group itself doesn't bother me, and I believe what is happening needs to be addressed on the international political level. However, the use of the word Genocide in its title is what bugs me. | Over the weekend although being busy with things to do in the evenings I had a lot of time to think about the year that's past. The good bits, the bad bits, the bits you are proud of and the bits you feel somewhat ashamed of. Now in the whole Its been an ok year, nothing special but some of the highlights have been passing the year at university with everything that was happening at the time of my exams, then the trial even though the sentence was very disappointing to say the least. The first were silversun pickup's and well i was rather indifferent to them, the second band was the horrors and well i thought they were shit. | Well its two weeks to the day since I was bullied in to going to the gym. Not something I would have considered doing of my own fruition; there was initially much protesting on my part at being made to go to the gym I pointed out that it classed as a cruel and unusual punishment as defined in the Human Rights Act. | Well tonights been an interesting night to say the least. I wasn't really in the mood to go out tonight, in all honesty i just wanted to curl up in bed all nice and warm and sleep. But as Vice Chair of MMU's LGBT society i had to go to our last event of the year. Rhe night itself was ok, nothing special but then when you are socalising with 18 and 19 year old's its not really going to be you're thing when you are 28 going 29. [more...]

| After being bullied in to going to the gym on Tuesday by someone whom shall remain nameless. I went again today of my own fruition; the main aim is to try and get the weight off that's not budging from diet and alike. So the new plan is at least 2 hours in the gym a week, and with the gym only being 200m if that down the road I really don't have any reason not to now. [more...]

| Today in a tutorial, we were discussing law & morality. When the topic of R v Brown was brought up as a good example of it. Then when asked if anyone new of the case i said rather a little to enthusiasticaly oh thats the 'S&M case' and then procided to inform all of the other students about the facts of the case. | Before today, I would not have said I had a person in history I admire; there had been lots of great people in the past who have all done fantastic things for the good of humanity, the likes of Florence Nightingale, Mother Teresa, and Gandhi to name a few. Now I am in my 2nd year of a law degree, now it's a degree that you would have thought that the people on it would have had a basic understanding of some of the big events that have spurred the production of some of the legal areas.
