| Last night was the last time I organised an Ann & Roly party. It feels like I have now reached the end of a good book. A book that has taken nearly five years to read, brought me tremendous pleasure, taken my emotions on a roller-coaster ride and which turned out to have an ending nothing like I might have imagined at the start. | I've had a number of memos from people who are laughing at my profile picture. You horrible bastards laughing at my misfortune. I had become very atached to Frosty as he stood in my back garden. I don't wish to labour a point, but he had multiple disabilities, he couldn't walk, neither could he see or shout for help. A couple of days after I took the photo, somebody had somehow sneaked in and abducted him. The gate was locked and I never heard any intruders. [more...] | ||
