| Had an 'interesting' day today. Dropped Caz off to pick up the kiddies from school, driving back to work, down the hill around the bend (the bend around the back of B&Q), and then suddenly it all begins to drift very slowly and I end up with the car perched on the start of the crash barrier about 2" off the ground. | The saying is true. My Caz, my darling Caz has been away with her mother and the kids to spain for a week and she is coming back tonight. Not having her around has left a big hole in my life, even more so than when my father died recently. Just having her around, she is so much of my life now that when shes not there it is really hard. And I am even missing the kids (well apart from the 6.30am alarm call EVERY day). Having the house to oneself for many men would be a godsend, but there are only so many frozen pizzas in the fridge before I have to visit the shopping mecca that is Tescos. (Yes Dear [more...] | ||

| Sitting here last thing before bed. Just burnt a CD of music for the funeral. Tomorrow is the funeral. (See last blog post) How do I feel? Simple just one word...Empty. Not happy or sad, not apprehensive, not anything.. just empty. Every so often I have flashbacks about my Dad and tears start to come, but the majority of the time It just feels all so surreal. Lost. | Someone in the scene I knew died today. I cannot really call them a friend in the true sense of the word, for I really hardly knew them.... but I will because its easier. We had met at a munch I first attended over a year ago and several times after that, and in fact I spoke to them about 5 minutes before they died. Strange that. 5 minutes and then the end. 5 minutes and then I will never seen him again. Is that all life really ends up as? you are here and then you are gone. Memories last longer than life.
