| Started off well with a new pair of glasses. I'm quite angry about being broken, but I like getting nice new things, even if it's only because of a physiological inadequacy. Saving up for surgery to fix them though (my eyes). As someone said, probably a symptom of my dysfunctional need for control. Got considerably better, though, when I found my £240 pair of glasses for £175 online and had Vision Express price-match them, THEN take off student discount, leaving me with a £90 saving. Swish. | I've been working freelance since leaving regular emplyoment and coming to uni last September. This semester I wanted to get a regular job so I know I've got extra money coming in (largely to fund my 21st). Also 'reverse engineering' is not nearly as cool as it sounds. On Tuesday I had my first interview, for my preferred job. Got the call today to say I've got it, and I get a free lunch on my first day. Not sure which is better news to be honest. | ||
