| It's often said than men are shallower than women. Well I'd like to offer one piece of anecdotal evidence to the contrary. With the release of the eminently missable Twilight movie outing, I hear many a girl crowing that they "must go see that, the guy in it is HOT." I can honestly say that I have never gone to see a movie because "the girl in it is hot". In fact, I don't recall ever hearing another man say such a thing. [more...] | ||

| Given that it's rapidly getting cold enough to freeze the ears off a Gundark (whoever spots the misquotation wins a cookie), I felt I was in need of a blanket. It's nice to have the extra warmth on top of my duvet in bed, and nicer still to have something to preserve the yummy heat when venturing out of it. [more...] | ||

| I strode across the empty courtyard, boot heels clicking on flagstones. Night enveloped the place, broken only by a pair of lonely street lamps in opposite corners, threatening to dazzle night adjusted eyes.
