| In the eighteen month gap between the time my marriage ended and the time that a con man very kindly pointed out that I was something called 'a submissive', I spent many hours on internet dating sites and answering ads in national newspapers. | This morning I had to take Ancient Dog to the vet for a check up after an eye op last week. I have a 30 minute drive to this new vet as my old local vet mightily upset me. | The morning after the 'no handle on the car door ordeal' I arrived at school and quietly told one of my friends what had happened. I don't know what I expected her to say, but I was quite surpised that she was shocked and worried. As soon as we caught up with a group of friends she spread the news. | Fairytales just didn't do it for me, not enough dirt and depravity. When the happy endings came and the prince carried whoever off into the lovely sunset I'd think 'and......?'. I was left with the frustration of wondering what he was going to do with her next and never knowing. Lots of the evil characters were female too, which didn't help.
