Verbal humiliation is when a person humiliates another intensely through disparaging comments or other verbal stimulation.
In a BDSM context, it may be a form of humiliation
when the dominant partner in a relationship verbally degrades the other
partner by verbalizing the inferiorities of the submissive partner. The
submissive partner usually obtains sexual release during this
humiliation. Alternatively, it may aim at sheer embarrassment, e.g. by
drawing attention to the physical arousal of the submissive.See also
