Über (German for Over, sometimes rendered as ueber where the umlaut is unavailable; cf. Übermensch) is sarcastically applied to Dominants thought by the speaker to walk the walk with a shade too earnest a strut. (Or possibly to denote the Ultimate Master.)
It seems uncertain whether the corresponding term for a submissive would be über-sub (attested, criticised) or unter-sub (attested). See also Twue.
