[b]A scene[/b] is a [about=BDSM]BDSM[/about] encounter between two or more people, it may or may not involve sexual activity. A [about=scene]scene[/about] can take place in private between two people, or in a [about=Fetish club]club[/about] where it can be viewed by a audience. When a scene takes place in public it may be because the participants enjoy the thrill of being watched by others, or because of the [about=SM equipment]equipment[/about] available, or because having third parties present adds safety for [about=play]play[/about] partners who have only recently met. There is an [about=etiquette]etiquette[/about] in most clubs which regulates how the onlookers may interact with the people in the scene. [b]The Scene[/b] is also used to refer to the [about=BDSM]BDSM[/about] / [about=Fetish]Fetish[/about] community. See [about=Lifestyle]Lifestyle[/about].
