Am I being too suspicous about all the new profiles on here?
Yet again asking qustion about one thing and another?
Checking posters profiles etc just kinda makes me feel bit uneasy is it *sock puppet*? Or somthing that was experienced on here a few weeks ago.

There does seem to be an influx of trolls and plonkers of late *shrug*. At least they're easy to spot.

I think the obviously new people are much less likely to be suspect. Journalists etc don't need to join to read posts, after all. If they did want to participate, to get more detail, I imagine they would try to blend in. I think most of the new people are just due to the holiday season.

What the scene needs is more paranoia! Yes indeed, I think it should be listed as an option in the interests list. I have tried getting freaked out by my own shadow, but it really doesn't work - and since I scared the crap out of my stalker and it ran away, there is a huge gap in my life.
Sorry, it's been a very weird day. But trolls and fakes is not sumpfing new.

Different kind of stalker - the other one said it wanted to kill me, and now lives in hiding and fear.
I think we should count ourselves lucky on IC, when it comes to trolls and fakes. When alt bought out B.com from Aiken, the number of profiles that were obviously fake multiplied 20+ times over and thousands of the genuine peeps upped sticks and left. It could be much, much worse.
