I see what you mean but that would involve someone speculatively joining as a researcher or whatever role in the production team they are a year or so in advance and being open about it, on the off chance that they are making a film or documentary about BDSM or one of it's many aspects.
If they were not open about it from the start that would be quite cynical of them. But in this case a person has joined specifically to get some first hand accounts.
Obviously there are trust issues involved and it is down to individuals on this matter. I agree some time on the scene and having a network of people on here would be a preferable situation for this endeavour but I am sure TV commisioning doesn't always work to a long term plan.
That said, I will take a back seat from the limelight and watch from the sidelines !

I don't think it is unusual for journalists or researchers to post profiles and say why they are here, at least they are being up front and open about their reason for having a profile. And if people want to respond they can, or they can just choose to ignore the post. Much worse are people who don't declare their interests or are not up front about why they want information. This person sounds genuine and if there are some spankers and spankees out there who are willing to contact her, and give a positive view of their preferences, well that is wonderful! The link on her profile does not look like it is a company that are looking to trash or criticise.

Hi - yes, I did only just join this site but I have been a meber on BS for quite a while. I orginally commissioned the Spank Daddy book after meeting him in a Soho pub. I have been interested in spanking since my twenties but don't have a great deal of experience. Having said that this book/programme is opening up lots of new areas for me
